40th Egg Festival plans shaping up

  PITTSFIELD – The Central Maine Egg Festival Committee led by President Stephen McCarron, Vice-President Wendy Thibodeau, Secretary Jim Cianchette and Treasurer Eva Charity, are now meeting in earnest to plan out the 40th anniversary of the annual event.

  This year's theme is the 40th “Egg”stravaganza.

  Egg Festival Committee meetings are now taking place on the second and fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Pittsfield town council chambers. The next meetings are scheduled for May 24 and June 14.

  The festival will be held Tuesday, July 17 through Saturday, July 21 with events each day leading up to the big parade and a day of fun at Manson Park on Saturday.
