Somerset Bowhunters’ 3D shoot Aug. 5

  SKOWHEGAN – Somerset Bowhunters will host the Maine State 3-D Archery Shoot on Sunday, Aug. 5 at their range on Eaton Mountain Road in Skowhegan.  Registration is from 8 – 11 a.m.  This will be a 40 target shoot. 

  The cost is $20 for adults, $8 for youth, $5 for cubs and free for Pee Wee members. The family rate is $30. Hot dogs, chili, pastries, water, soda and coffee will be available at the snack shack.

  The next 3-D shoots will be on Aug. 11 (night shoot) and Aug. 19 – the Lester Corson Memorial all deer shoot.  For information, call Bob at 397-3761.

  The next monthly club meeting will be on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. at the range on the Eaton Mountain Road. There are no meetings in September, October and November.  The December meeting will be held at the Skowhegan Sportsman’s Club on the River Road at 6:30 p.m.
