BANGOR – The Red Cross is calling on all eligible blood donors – now
more than ever – to roll up a sleeve and give as soon as possible. All blood
types are needed, but especially O positive, O negative, B negative and A
negative in order to meet patient demand this summer.
The American Red Cross' Maine Division is also continuing its free Red
Sox t-shirt promotion through the month of August. All presenting donors will
receive a Red Sox t-shirt commemorating the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park
now through Aug. 31.
Donors will also receive:
- A coupon
for a free container of any variety of Turkey Hill SunBrew™ Iced Tea
- A chance to win a new kayak from Old Town Canoe

Aug. 22: The Unitarian Universalist Church, Dexter, 1 – 6 p.m.
Aug. 23: Tardif-Belanger American Legion Post, Madison, 12 – 5 p.m.
