Entries wanted for St. Albans Bicentennial cook book

ST. ALBANS – The Town of St. Albans Bicentennial Committee is assembling a cookbook and would like your favorite family recipes.  These can be either some you cook currently or some that your grandmother has passed down over the years.  You can either email your recipes to StAlbansCooks@hotmail.com or drop a copy off at the town office.  They don’t need to be typed – the committee can take care of that.  Don’t forget to include your name on the recipe so proper credit is given.
If you have some type of short history that goes with the recipe, include that as well. If you have any questions, send a message to this email address and you will receive a reply.  The deadline for submission is Monday Oct. 15.
The Town of St Albans is also selling Cat’s Meow Keepsakes of the old general store; town hall and St. Albans Union Church.  These keepsakes make wonderful gifts.  If you would like to purchase one, please stop by the town office or call 938-4568 for more information.  They can also be purchased at Indian Stream Hardware in St. Albans. You can view the keepsakes at www.townofstalbans.net.
The proceeds from the sale of these keepsakes are going to the 2013 Bicentennial Celebration.
